March Madness sucking up my time.

I'm a bit behind on working right now, I admit March Madness has played a part in this.

I probably shouldn't have posted the first page of The kid with the Cubed fro yet since I noticed a few things that need to be worked on. I'm did some touching up on the first 8 or 9 pages of The Kid with the Cubed fro and will be inking and drawning (I'm penciling page 16 right now) the rest.

I'll probably start putting up 7 or 8 pages as a preview in a week or two, maybe sooner.

Happy Pi day but comics are about to get cubed

As I mentioned before I am taking a break from Brer Warrior to work on something new and I thought today being a math related holiday it was the prefect time to talk about the new project.

If you bought either the second issue of Brer Warrior or the first ebook of reprints you would have seen this ad...

But not much is giving about the character except he's a kid with a hair style that is not the normal shape of an afro.

Well the Kid with the Cubed Fro is a new series focusing on a super genius kid living in a crazy world where anything could happen.

influnced by everything from the wildness of the silver age, manga, and a bunch of other stuff this is a comic that is not just for kids but the kid in all of us.

I've been working on this for a while. You can now buy the first and second issues of Brer Warrior together in ebook format for the low price of $2.99. That' right not only is it lower then both issues in printed format it's about the same price as a single floppy issue of most comics.

RIP Dwayne McDuffie

the other day the comic industry...no the world lost a great person, Dwayne McDuffie.

He was a comic book and tv show writer and co-founder of Milestone comics.

though I never personally meet the man, I have bumped into him online a number of times (and that's not counting the times I hanged at his forums)

He was one of those people that made me realize hey their are actual people that write comics, and he also made me realize that someone can start their own comic book company and push for more diveristy in the field.
